Charleston Wedding at The Gadsden House – Charleston, South Carolina – Leslie & Drew

Leslie and Drew met at the Clemson vs. Citadel football game in November 2013. Drew’s high school friend, Keaton, was dating Leslie’s older sister, Allison, at the time – who are now married. It was a simple introduction that sparked a (soon to be) lifetime of happiness together. Drew and Leslie hit it off the day they met with their love for Clemson football, Esso Club and live music! Leslie was instantly drawn in by Drew’s good looks, sense of humour, and his natural respect for her. They have made so many memories together since the day they met; from seeing Lion King on Broadway, drinking wine through the vineyards of Tuscany in Italy, and seeing Clemson win the National Championship game in January of 2017 – they’ve only begun their journey together.

Charleston was a special place for Drew and Leslie to get married for many reasons. Drew was born and raised in Charleston and Leslie, originally from Myrtle Beach, spent a lot of her time in Charleston while her dad fought a long battle of heart disease. After Leslie’s dad passed away in April 2013, she hadn’t returned to Charleston for some time. Leslie met Drew later that year and he brought her back to Charleston, only to develop good memories! Charleston has had a positive impact on their relationship since they’ve met, from the boat rides in the harbour, romantic dinners at Macintosh, and finally, becoming newlyweds at The Gadsden House! Although work has kept them from living in Charleston, they cannot wait to start their lives together and travel back to Charleston to reminisce on those good times they’ve shared there!
