Frosty Blue Winter Wedding Inspiration Shoot – Newtown, Pennsylvania

This elegant wedding styled shoot was inspired by the beauty and romanticism of winter. The styled shoot team chose a soft colour palette of dusty blue, silver and sage, and incorporated a lot of greenery and an ice motif to evoke a mood reminiscent of winter. Tyler Gardens was the perfect backdrop for the sophisticated and modern style of this frosty blue winter wedding inspiration shoot.

The invitation suite created by Pretty Ink Press incorporated elegant calligraphy, a custom monogram, wooded textures, adorable animal illustrations, and blue envelopes lined with evergreen illustrations. Petunia Bergamot designed the lush florals for this shoot. We adore the lovely mix of white roses, blue tweedia, larkspur, tillandsia, anemone flowers, dusty miller, eucalyptus pods, bruins, and a cute, unique touch – a pop of fluffy white cotton! The addition of long silky ribbons wrapped around the bridal bouquets was a nice touch that looked great with the dresses. A wedding arch adorned with evergreens, dusty miller, eucalyptus and pinecones was the centrepiece of the ceremony setup. The ceremony design also included a welcome sign created by Alisa Wismer Design & Illustration and wooden bench seating accented with florals and linens.

The bride’s wedding gown and white fur stole, provided by Yes to the Dress, gave a perfect winter bridal look for this shoot. With a delicately beaded and embroidered lace bodice, beaded lace appliqués scattered throughout the tulle skirt, and light blue colour, she looked stunning! The bridesmaids wore mismatched floor-length dresses, provided by The Wedding Shoppe, which created a lovely ombre effect against the wedding gown. A variety of hairstyles done by BeYOUtiful Bride, gorgeous makeup done by Makeup by Samantha Linn, and jewellery provided by L. Priori Jewelry pulled the entire look together. With assistance from Susan Padron Stylist, the groom wore a handsome charcoal suit, which was supplied by Damari Savile. A blue tie, boutonniere, and a blue and white splatter pattern pocket square completed the groom’s look.

A vintage white settee, metal and glass side table, and light grey coffee table, provided by Something Borrowed Philly, made for a perfectly cosy lounge area. The wedding cake, made by Snacky French, combined the ice theme and subtle colour palette into a stunning three-tier cake that was displayed on a wooden cake stand surrounded by wintery greens. With light blue watercolour icing, crushed rock candy, shimmery sugar crystals, silvery accents and a cake topper made by Ever Laser, this cake was one to impress!

Open Aire Affairs provided all of the rentals for a beautiful reception table design that was straight out of a winter wonderland. The farm-style dinner table was draped with a shimmery blue crushed linen runner and fresh garland. The dreamy tablescape featured elegant tabletop floral pieces, blue taper candles, painted pears, sparkly silver bells, beautiful menu cards, and silver laser-cut place cards and Mr. & Mrs. chair signs from Ever Laser.
