A Boho Glam Fall Styled Wedding
Bohemianism represents the desire to be unconventional and free-spirited. This was the inspiration behind this gorgeous bohemian shoot where the traditional wedding colours and decor concepts were cast aside. A touch of glam was shown through the luxurious handmade pieces of jewellery with gold accent colour throughout. Wine bottles were used as candle holders and wooden furniture was accented with hints of gold and copper. Colours of burgundy, orange, purple and green boldly took centre stage against the backdrop of fall colours that harmoniously blended in as the perfect supporting cast.
The reception area featured a wooden harvest table decorated with a full-length garland, candles of varying heights held by a mix of wine bottles and gold candle holders, copper cutlery and individual menus. The bride and groom chairs were decorated with flowers matching the garland which rested comfortably on top of hand woven macrame.
The ceremony area mirrored the elements and colours of the reception area where a large macrame hung from a copper arch decorated with flowers. The rug and guitar symbolize a more relaxed, free-spirited setting fitting in perfectly with the boho theme. Three large copper rings decorated with macrame and flowers were hung from the branches of a tree in the ceremony area to complete the look.
The cake table was decorated with macarons, cookies and fruits that surrounded a multi-layer cake and exhibited the same bold colours found in the other areas. Florals were added as additional accents around their edible counterparts. A pink loveseat decorated with a sheepskin provided the perfect place for guests to relax with their share of the delicious treats the cake table had to offer. Guests could also find their seats from the seating chart that hung from a small decorated copper arch while waiting for their turn at the cake table.
The bohemian theme ran throughout with the beautiful lace custom wedding dress, the invitation with dream catcher inspiration and the barefoot sandals. Last but not least, there was a free-spirited Sheepadoodle as part of the shoot.
