A timeless, classic, romantic wedding day – Nikki & Jordan
Nikki and Jordan met when they were 10 years old. He played football and she cheered for their county’s little league team. Nikki had a crush on Jordan and asked him to be her boyfriend but he turned her down. After little league, they grew up in different schools and their paths didn’t cross again until they were 20 years old. They were both at a high school basketball game one day and Nikki’s friend told Jordan that she had been “checking him out” the whole time (which was a lie). He later messaged her and the rest was history.
Almost six years later he proposed on Christmas morning while they were opening gifts. After opening presents, he told her that she had one more gift but she had to stand up and turn around. Nikki had a feeling that he was going to propose but then she heard a big bag rattle and thought to herself “that sounds like a big gift, not a ring.” Then she heard his knee hit the floor and she turned around to the most beautiful ring and Jordan with the biggest smile on his face. “I don’t even remember if he asked me to marry him, I just said yes and cried hysterically.”
There was a ton of detail that went into planning their wedding, Devynn with the River Place did an amazing job coordinating their special day, everything was simply stunning!
The wedding gown was gorgeous, it truly was made perfectly for Nikki. Lesley with LB Floral created the most stunning fall bouquets with lush greenery and hints of deep red roses. The deep reds were carried throughout the venue, it was perfect for the first day of fall. All these things truly added a timeless beauty to the day.
