Styled Shoots

Behind the scenes at our unicorn themed styled shoot

You may remember that back in September when I was 8 months pregnant, I arranged a unicorn themed styled shoot with an amazing team of vendors. The shoot was romantically whimsical and our model bride looked so radiant in the custom-made gown with multicoloured pastel train and intricately embroidered detailing. Some of the highlights from the day included the stunning cream-tone flower wall which perfectly contrasted her glittery makeup. The dessert table featured an array of unicorn-inspired food, but the showstopper was the three-tiered cake that had pink multi-tone flowers and shimmery details.

There are far too many details to even put into words, but that's why it's a good job we had a videographer involved on the day!

A lot of couples have a professional photographer at their wedding, and they budget appropriately, but sometimes hiring a videographer is seen as a “should we/shouldn’t we” decision? If you've never thought about hiring a videographer, or you're on the fence about hiring one, we would highly recommend it!

Video has the power to bring people back into that special time. Think of it like this – if you got the chance to watch a video of your grandparents or your parents getting married, wouldn’t you love to see it?! There's definitely a running theme with the advice we receive from newlyweds which is: enjoy the day, it goes by so fast! You spend months organising the day, and then it's all over, but you'd never regret having a chance to re-live it all, at your own pace. A lot of couples enjoy having a night in together watching their wedding video, just reminiscing about their special day.

This video of our styled shoot makes me so proud to have been a part of such an enjoyable and beautiful day, and we hope you enjoy watching it!
