Blue Hill at Stone Barns Wedding – Michelle & Campbell

Michelle and Campbell met on a fitness dating website and had their first date at a rock climbing gym. They fell in love over their combined interest of being outdoors and having an active lifestyle. They had originally planned on having a very large, 200 person wedding but once they began planning they soon realised that a large wedding didn’t reflect who they were as a couple and instead invited just 18 of their closest family and friends to their wedding at Blue Hill at Stone Barns in Pocantico Hills, New York.

Their wedding included small personal touches such as “On Belay” and “Belay On” being inscribed in the wedding bands and the bride and groom’s hands being wrapped and tied in rope during the ceremony to play off their first date at a rock climbing gym.

Instead of a DJ with a large dance set, there were only three dances outside on the patio. The bride and groom danced to “Our Love Is Easy” by Melody Gardot, the bride and father danced and then everyone joined in for one dance.
