Boudoir, Styled Shoots

Bridal Boudoir at the Pink Door Boutique

This styled bridal boudoir session with models Larissa and Jules was inspired by the vintage glam location created by Anne Turcic. The Pink Door Boutique studio in Stoney Creek was a perfect setting to capture romantic and elegant images of our two beautiful bridal models. Hair and makeup were both soft and glamorous. The sweet treats including luxury macarons were a combination of rustic chic and romantic airy sets made this the perfect location for capturing this bridal boudoir shoot.

The inspiration behind this shoot was wanting to create something “luxury” and for “self-love.” This is not your typical bridal boudoir session because it was about each individual model embracing their body and feeling luxurious doing so. The photographs are not typical for “the male gaze” poses – they are for the girls themselves! It’s all about showing how pampered these two ladies were and how a boudoir session brought out their inner confidence. The styled shoot team chose these two models because their bodies are very representative of the everyday woman. They were photographed separately because each photograph was strictly about them, their love of their self and embracing their individual bodies.
