Casual Same-Sex Romance Mini-Session – Brittany & Michele
You may remember these two beautiful faces from this post just the other day. When we saw that there were more photos of this gorgeously in love couple we just had to show you more of them!
Brittany and Michele were married in a private intimate ceremony where they only invited those closest to them. They didn't get a chance to celebrate their union with their friends and family at the time so they planned a stunning night for a later date to throw a celebration. They wanted to have a few portraits taken for their invitation to the event. These portraits were photographed outside of Studio Cellar, the venue that they planned to hold their event at for friends and family.
This lovely couple met at Columbia College, where they both went to school. They were both in relationships with other people at the time but when they started talking, there was an instant undeniable connection.
Brittany proposed in Asheville, North Carolina in October 2015. They took a short hike to the top of a mountain and she gave Michele a little book. Each page on the book included a picture of them and a song lyric from one of their songs. The last page had a picture of the ring. When she got to that page, Brittany pulled out the ring. Michele was so surprised!
Brittany hired a photographer to capture the entire thing, but she wanted to keep it a secret. The photographer mistakenly thought that once she had proposed, that her photographing them was no longer a secret so she came close to them and began taking pictures. Brittany had planned to keep it a secret the entire time and surprise Michele with the pictures for Christmas. Michele noticed that the photographer was close to them but Brittany assured her that she was not taking pictures of them, and if she was it was probably just because she's an artist and it was a nice moment. Michele believed her and they still laugh about that all of the time.
