Cherry Blossom Styled Wedding Inspiration
The inspiration for this styled wedding comes from the stunning cherry blossoms that line the orchard in the spring. After the blistery winter season, the cherry blossoms bring new life. The team want to create a shoot that was fresh, pretty, and romantic, inspired by the spring blossoms. Not only do they create such a beautiful backdrop, but the blossoms themselves can be incorporated into the wedding design.
They wanted to elevate this photoshoot with a sweet light neutral green colour palette to subtly enhance the the blossoms. The rest of the design was kept simple, letting the natural beauty of the flowers and the bride be the stars of the show. With this shoot, they wanted to take a step back to basics and create a pure, whimsy, but sophisticated look. The flowers were the perfect place to do this. The blossoms in the orchard were a large piece of the design, but incorporating the soft blooms in the bouquet and centerpieces was such a big piece of it. The flowers were loose, light, and organic. They didn’t want a stiff “packed to the brim” bouquet, they wanted something that could be seen picked from the orchard. The loose silk ribbons on the bouquet was meant to flow with the model’s wedding dress.
The wedding dress was meant to really flow and move. They wanted it to be as soft as the blossoms. The navy suit with the pink vest and flower pattern tie brought things together perfectly.
Tablescape elements were meant to be fresh, light, and really showcase the linens and silks. The tablescape was meant to be light and airy just like the dress and flowers were. The modern menu on the plate meant to elevate the simplistic beauty of the set. The layout for the reception was set to emphasize the different table sizes and again emphasize the flow and movement.
