DIY Country Club Wedding – Madeline & David

Madeline and David created a gorgeous, budget-friendly wedding with lots of beautiful DIY details. After getting engaged in February of 2018 they put the entire event together in less than six months! Everything came together perfectly to make for a wonderful day filled with tons of love and laughter. The day of the wedding it was actually periodically raining ash from wildfires in the area, but it didn't put a damper on the day at all.

Madeline hired a venue that doubled as the caterer, a DJ, a florist, and a photographer. Everything else was done DIY style! She made all of the centrepieces after collecting vintage pieces at thrift stores and repurposing them. The lovely votive holders she spray painted gold, and the table numbers she made herself. The floral aspects of the centrepieces she collected as craft stores clearance their spring floral collections. The beautiful cake was completely homemade by the bride's sister as a wedding gift and was as delicious as it looked. The bride's sister practised on the flavours (each tier was a different flavour) for months before the big day. The bride did her own hair and make-up, along with all of the wedding planning, decorating details, creative guestbook, and signage.

UPDATE: This lovely couple very sadly lost their house during the recent fires in California (8th November 2018), so if you could spare any money at all to help them out that would be so appreciated! Newly married life is already hectic and we really feel for them having the stress of such a big financial loss! Their Gofundme page can be seen here.
