Elegant Wisconsin Wedding – Julie & Matthew
Matt has been thinking of this day from the moment he nervously visited Julie’s parents to ask for her hand in marriage. Although he used the excuse that he was bringing Julie’s dad, Tom, some of his favourite meat – to his surprise, he opened the cooler to find a beautiful engagement ring. They knew that their little girl had found the one!
Julie and Matthew’s wedding day started at Julie’s childhood home in a small nearby Wisconsin town where her fellow cosmetology friends had beautified her whole group of bridesmaids along with the stunning bride. As the bride added the finishing touches to her style, she had surprise guests from family members visit before the commotion of the big day. From there, the bridesmaids had to sneak into the side doors of the Trinity Lutheran Church to miss the groomsmen sitting anxiously awaiting the bride finally walking down the aisle – but first, the two secretly exchanged gifts with the help of their bridal party. Julie gifted her groom with a new watch and Matt gifted his bride decor for their new home.
One by one, the bridesmaids shined in their gorgeous sequin dresses down the aisle until it came to the beautiful bride finally meeting eyes with her groom at the end of the aisle. From there, it was nothing but smiles and love shared between the two. The couple chose to incorporate the Cord of Three Strands, God’s Knot, as part of their ceremony symbolising the joining of one man, one woman and God into a marriage. With Julie’s cosmetology roots, there was a little laughter in the crowd as she proved her skills in intertwining the three strands.
After the ceremony, this gorgeous group was ready to party. Their first stop was Julie’s family property overlooking farmland of past generations – a special spot to take family portraits and take a break to swing with the newlyweds! The next step: The breathtaking Osthoff Resort in Elkhart Lake, WI. Between the gorgeous sequin bridesmaid dresses, navy perfectly tailored tuxes and the stunning details on Julie’s wedding dress, the bridal party looked like they just stepped out of a magazine on the beach of Elkhart Lake. Luckily, the rain held off just long enough for them to make it to the Village of 170 reception hall where the couple had remembrance of their loved ones as soon as you walked in!
Julie and Matt started the non-stop dance floor with a serenade by Julie’s talented brother and friend to “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran. For the rest of the night, the laughter was contagious all throughout the reception hall as friends and family celebrated the love of this wonderful couple including a sparkler send-off for the couple as they embark in a lifetime of love and happiness together!
