Auburn Confluence Engagement – Haley & Charlie
Haley and Charlie met at summer camp – perfect summer love story right? They continue to serve as camp counselors at a camp in the Sierra Nevadas every year teaching courses to children, one of which, is film photography.
Both of Charlie’s parents were park rangers so the love of out-dooring is pretty much innate, and having an outdoor engagement shoot complete with hiking trails and a river gorge was an obvious choice for this couple. The Auburn Confluence looks like it’s an amazing site which is rife with symbolic meaning for the union of these two souls. We had to Google it (don’t judge), and we found out that a confluence is where two major rivers converge creating rushing rapids and then smooth out into one single flow. Isn’t that just the perfect analogy for marriage?!
Haley is on her way to being a nurse and Charlie just passed the California Bar exam. They will be getting married in June 2018 at the Monte Verde Inn, a gorgeous old mansion in Forrest Hill California, and their whole life as a couple is ahead of them.
