Film noir-themed winter shoot – Jessica & Devin
Jessica and Devin met via an online dating website. "Our first date was over brunch, talking about the history of World War I. There was an immediate connection, and we were married exactly 11 days shy of the one year anniversary of our first brunch date!" "We had the reception dinner after our Las Vegas wedding in the restaurant in the Eiffel Tower Las Vegas. We decided to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary in the REAL Eiffel Tower restaurant, Le Jules Verne." This was Devin's first trip to Paris, and he was wowed by his experience. His favorite part of the trip was visiting the Musee d'Orsay. He also liked the Louvre, because he said that while he had studied the various famous works of art, he never thought he'd get to see them in person! Jessica loved taking a more leisurely approach to visiting Paris than on her first whirlwind trip. She particularly enjoyed lunch near Sainte Chappelle at a little place called Restaurant Paul. What we did not expect When it came to their styled anniversary session, they didn't expect that it would be so cold. They hadn't anticipated snow, but there were some flurries, and constant fog on the day of our shoot. However, Pierre brilliantly made the fog work with the theme. This happily married couple decided to do a thematic photo shoot (film noir) because they're trying to do unique photo shoots each year on their wedding anniversary. "Just prior to our wedding, we did a "high fashion" shoot in Death Valley, California. We had such a fun and amazing time, and friends and family loved the photos so much, that they decided to try to do something similar each year. We settled on the Film Noir theme because it really seemed to go with the feeling of Paris in the winter.
