Garden Engagement – Paige & Mike
Paige and Mike met when two mutual friends set them up on a double date - they went putt-putt golfing and have been together ever since!
After several months of dating, Paige knew she loved Mike. But the moment when she truly knew he was the one for her was one night shortly before their one year anniversary. She was listening to music trying to fall asleep, and she looked over at him sleeping so peacefully. Watching his face as he slept, she knew that he was the only man she ever wanted to watch sleep and wanted to marry him. Mike knew after about a year of dating that he wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. He slowly had a realisation that she was the one.
When it came to the proposal, Paige and Mike used their Busch Gardens season passes as an excuse to take a weekend trip to Tampa. They spent the entire day at the beach, even falling asleep on the sand. They walked along the shore looking for seashells and shopping at the little shops along the way. When it was close to the sunset, they sat on a bench to watch. On either side of them, a little way down the beach, there were two different weddings taking place. They watched as two couples tied the knot while the sun was setting. Right as the sun was hitting the horizon, Paige turned and saw Mike get down on one knee, with a beautiful three stone diamond ring in white gold. "Shut up" were the first words out of her mouth. She was taken by complete surprise. He went on to say how much he loved her and wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. By the time he asked her to marry him, they both had tears running down their cheeks. She said yes and jumped up to hug him. They cried and laughed, kissed and cuddled for a few minutes. They enjoyed the view and embraced each other fully.
Paige and Mike will be getting married in Maitland in October this year. Their engagement session took place at Kraft Azalea Gardens in Winter Park.
