Gruene B&B Love in Hill Country Texas
The beautiful creative director Swanee Browning went to the photographer, Christine Marie Scott, with a vision for this new venue called Gruene B & B. Swanee’s up and coming New Braunfels wedding guide celebrates all the local New Braunfels Wedding Vendors. The inspiration for the shoot came from everyone’s talent, this ADORABLE little new air b&b with little cottages in New Braunfels, and the fact that they had a celebrity model apart of it with them. They wanted this to be traditional and full of love. They incorporated a live painter as the couple danced to a live fiddle player in the little Gruene Hall. It was so romantic that Randy Rogers and his wife were in tears.
The aim of this styled shoot to show all the brides in New Braunfels and all around the United States that you can have a small and enjoyable wedding with the people you love most. This venue accommodates just under 50 guests so it is perfect for an intimate wedding.
Randy’s attire and Chelsea’s gorgeous gown were from Celebrations Bridal and Prom. The professional help given by Samantha at the boutique the day of gown selections made the experience fun and stress-free. The personal service didn’t end there. Because rainstorms were ebbing and flowing throughout the shoot, Samantha stayed after delivering gowns and essentially was Chelsea’s attendant helping her to navigate around one mud puddle after another. The accessories Chelsea wore that so beautifully complemented her dress was from Ernesto’s Jewelry. Deborah Campbell, The Fiddle Chick, brought her fiddle and played while Randy and Chelsea danced. Lauren, with Snap Chic Wedding Painting, recreated the scene with such skill and accuracy. These two ladies helped complete that important styled shoot snapshot idea which was the beginning place for the entire shoot
There is so much to appreciate about vintage. Simply stated charm can be achieved by selecting only a few of the right pieces. The soft blue floral covered loveseats on either side of the antique sidebar create a lovely photo opportunity for a couple. The combination of hydrangea, larkspur, roses, stock, alstroemeria and Queen Anne’s lace brought just the right amount of colour to the tabletop. Notice the creamy coloured stands with teardrop candle holders dangling from each – they add a little romance to the backdrop. A rattan rug perfectly positioned completes the stage.
“Country Charm requires a long farm table, don’t you think? I love using family heirlooms for a bit of nostalgia. With this in mind, I chose to set the table using my mother’s blue party dishes. I have fond memories as a child of peeking around the door on special occasions to catch a glimpse of the beautifully decorated dessert table my mother always set for her guests. Her blue dishes were always a hit. The delicate linens I chose to use with the blue dishes belonged to my grandmother. The array of pink florals arranged on the tabletop made such a stunning contrast. I asked the caterer to provide two smaller versions of the wedding cake in blue. Guest now would have their very own sampling!
Speaking of wedding cake, let’s talk sweets. Cakes staged the most alluring, mouthwatering table of desserts. Cakes, cake pops, and cupcakes frosted in baby pink and cream resting on a large cream crocheted doily embody subtle romance. These cakes are a perfect blend of white with vintage and wrapped in country charm. “
