I’m lovin’ it – Kat & Jimmy

The bridal party and respective family members got ready at Baltimore Marriott Waterfront. The weather forecast showed a toss up between cloudy and rain, but everybody chose to ignore it as Kat stepped into her wedding gown. She stated to the room that, “it didn’t matter” and with a smile, she got into her wedding dress. The best part? It never rained!

Downstairs, the boys were also dressing. Jimmy and the groomsmen straightened their ties and adjusted their jacket lapels. The groom was calm and ready to meet his bride at the church. Together, the groomsmen left together to arrive early at St. Joseph’s Monastery. This gave Jimmy time to gather his thoughts and pray before the ceremony.

Kat and Jimmy took part in a traditional Catholic Mass with a heartwarming ceremony where guests got to share in the faith of the couple, as well as their vows. It was a classic and beautiful event full of emotion. Attendees were all smiles as Kat and Jimmy became wife and husband!

With a bit of a break between Kat and Jimmy’s ceremony to the start of their cocktail hour, the newlyweds made a spontaneous decision. They stopped with their bridal party at McDonald’s so everyone could get a quick bite! The photos of this happy newlywed couple really caught our eye and made us giggle because it's not what you'd typically expect to see at your local fast food restaurant!

The wedding festivities continued back at the Marriott where a gorgeous cocktail hour was set up in a grand hall for everyone to enjoy. Everything from hors-d'oeuvres to cocktails were displayed to enjoy. Once the ballroom was ready, the doors were opened and everyone entered to take their seat under a large, stunning chandelier. The party kicked off with traditions of the First Dance and cake cutting, followed by “cutting the rug” all night long on the dance floor!

It changed towards the beginning of the year but nothing major. We’re actually in the process of changing it a little more at the moment so people can search by colour, style, location etc – keep your eyes peeled over the next couple of months!
You definitely need to come to the UK next year! I’d love that!!
Also, we’re thinking of moving back to Spain in a few years time (maybe like 5 years or something) so you could come to visit us there too! Have a little European holiday home haha 🙂
