Lairmont Manor Wedding – Courtney & Shane
Courtney and Shane met through mutual friends, but they also went to the same high school. They began dating after high school when both sets of mutual friends went out, and they both happened to go! The rest is history.
They went on a trip to Victoria, somewhere Courtney’s never been. They went to a number of different places that day, but when they got to beacon park they stumbled upon a wooden bridge over a small pond, and Shane got down on one knee and proposed to Courtney! “It was a moment neither of us will ever forget.”
When they envisioned their wedding, they wanted a load of personal touches. They wanted their dog, Tucker walking down the aisle. Courtney says that they picked this venue because when Shane and her began dating, they went there as his step father’s family owns it. “I knew seeing it for the very first time that if Shane and I were to get married, this is where I would want it to be, and luckily Shane totally agreed!”
The vases on each table as Shane’s mom hand painted them all for the wedding. They had a cupcake bar, as it’s breaks the tradition of a wedding cake. The signage for the wedding was all hand-written by a family member.
