Matheson Hammocks Park Engagement – Ana Paola & Rodrigo
Rodrigo proposed to Ana Paola in central park, New York. It was like something straight out of a fairytale! He took her for a stroll in a carriage on a cold winter night and then got down on one knee! Ana Paola and Rodrigo live in Bolivia and they love to travel together. It is one of the things they enjoy the most. One of their favourite locations to travel is Miami and so they had their engagement photos taken there.
Ana Paola says that when it came to meeting Rodrigo, “I was super excited to go to Cancun for my friend Lorena and Sergio’s wedding. I was looking forward to enjoying the sun and having a great time. What I wasn’t expecting was finding the love of my life, who knew I would find love so far away from home! I met Rodrigo on the trip, he was one of Sergio’s friend, what’s even funnier is that I had never really met him before and we both live in the same city. Rodrigo was determined to get to know who I was and as soon as we started speaking we felt the connection. We have been dating for over a year and a half and it has been the best time of my life.
We have learned so much from each other. I love how we are both hard workers with a lot of ambitions. We love to travel and love dogs! Our dogs Goliath, Pepper, and Oso and own our hearts. We both have amazing families we treasure and enjoy spending time with our friends. We are both foodies for sure! He is obsessed with Sushi just like me.
One of my dreams was to go to New York City in the winter, see snow, and see the Rockefeller tree lit! Rodrigo planned the trip and I thought that was my surprise, I had no idea he was going to propose. On December 3rd, 2017 he took me on a carriage ride around central park and got on one knee and asked me those four words I wanted to hear “Will you marry me?”. To be honest I feel very blessed to have a person like him by my side. He is more than I ever expected and he has given me the love story I was searching for.
We have our date set to get married in June in Cabo San Lucas since we met in Mexico. I knew I wanted my engagement pictures in Miami since I was shopping for a dress there. My amazing friend and photographer Maria took our engagement pictures as we strolled through a park. She beautifully captured our love and made us feel so relaxed. I cannot wait until our wedding day!”
