Private Estate Boho Wedding – Jessica & Christian

This boho outdoor wedding barely missed a summer thunderstorm and ended with a gorgeous sunset and rainbow! The bride and groom chose to have a foot washing ceremony – John 13:14-17 says: “Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. I have set you as an example that you should do as I have done for you. Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.” Feet washing symbolises humility and service, and this whole-heartedly describes Jessica and Christian. They care for those around them with everything they’ve got.

Right before their ceremony, they were calling for terrible thunderstorms. While waiting for the ceremony to begin, everyone stared at the large dark cloud quickly approaching – some even grabbed umbrellas preparing for the downpour. But as Jessica and Christian said their vows, the wind picked up and began blowing her dress and the flowers on the cross, and the sky turned completely dark which made for stunning portraits!
