Romantic Garden Wedding – Amanda & Brad
Amanda and Brad met through online dating, Plenty of Fish 3 years ago.One thing lead to another and before you know it, it was Amanda’s first mothers day and they were getting ready to have a bbq at their home. Brad just got home from work and she was getting their baby ready for the day, Brad came up from behind her and got down on one knee. It completely caught her off guard. “I wasn’t expecting anything, we both started crying. He wanted to ask me before all the family came over, he’s not much for being the centre of attention.”
Amanda’s favourite colours are rose gold and blush so those had to be the colours for the wedding. Bella Fiori Gardens was the second venue they had looked at, and once they got to the venue they immediately fell in love with all the flowers and decor, there really wasn’t much that needed to be added. This venue has such a beautiful elegance to it and that’s what they wanted, that wow factor! Flowers were all in bloom, thousands of lights, water fountains, chandeliers in the gazebo for the ceremony and in the reception area and breath taking garden area for the ceremony. The owner of the venue Michelle has done an outstanding job making sure this place looks it’s best for her brides.
Since there was no bridal party, Brad and the 2 gentleman that walked the bride down the aisle wanted to be comfortable and not wearing a tux. So Pinterest is where Amanda got the attire idea for the guys. Country and simple. Dark blue jeans, Romeo boots, white long sleeve dress shirt and vest.
For the wedding dress, Amanda knew that she really loves lace and mermaid style dresses. She ended up picking a Maggie Sottero dress with beautiful open lace detailed back and it was ivory over champagne. Absolutely stunning!
The most important thing to this couple while planning their wedding was to keep it simple and not go to overboard. They had the best support from all the vendors who helped them plan this beautiful wedding and keep it within budget. If there was something Amanda wanted for the flowers or decor, both Chandra and Went helped her to keep the vision of what she wanted. Everything turned out to be even better than they had expected. Everything tied together with the venue.
“My favorite part of the day was seeing our son. Isaiah walking down the walkway all dressed up in his outfit. I instantly cried, he looked like such a big boy. It was a hot day and for him not taking a nap and running all over the place he was a trooper.”
The one personal detail they both wanted was a memory chair dedicated to both their dads. They both lost their dads a few years ago and for them to not be there on their wedding day was hard. Not having the brides dad to walk his only daughter down the aisle was especially hard. But she did have a very special locket made with one of her favourite pictures of them on her flower bouquet, her guardian angel. He was there in spirit to walk his little girl down the aisle.
