Romantic Spring Florals – A Styled Shoot in Alaska

Alaska is harsh in the winter, there’s no doubt about it, but that just means that the arrival of “spring” weather is reason for more joy and celebration. This styled shoot team created this soft, romantic spring floral wedding inspiration not only for those alaskan couples seeking beauty and warmth on their big day, but for “i dos” all over the map. Feminine pinks, vintage touches and heaps of gorgeous blooms are the perfect mix for an effortlessly romantic affair during any season.

Florals were the focus of the day. The idea was to create a “spring” scene amidst the seemingly never-ending Alaskan winter. Lush, romantic florals in peachy-pink hues overflowed into the ceremony and reception space, taking front-and-center in every element of the design.

Just a touch of gilded floral design on the cake was the perfect amount to complement the styling of the wedding. This sweet but simple buttercream, two-tiered confection was a perfect pair with the subtle golden touches of the tablescape.

The bride wore a minimal yet classic and fun Truvelle silhouette – it was the perfect choice to not take away from the overflowing florals within the day’s setup, but still add a dash of romance with the lovely lace and sleeved top.

The intimate tablescape blended vintage, mismatched china with the same romantic florals that abound throughout the venue – bringing an air of fresh, springtime whimsy to a snowy Alaskan “spring” scene.
