Engagement Shoots

Sagamore Pendry Proposal – Jenny & Jeremy

Jeremy made a silly cat call – that’s how they met! Little did they know at the time that it would lead to years of memories, building a home together, adopting a dog, or this proposal. This flirty gesture got Jenny’s attention and held it long enough for Jeremy to find himself down on one knee.

Once the ring was secured, Jeremy called his friends into action. He gave friends and family specific instructions and planned a random evening dinner at a new restaurant on an ordinary Tuesday night. While the pair sipped drinks and ate at the Sagamore Pendry in Historic Fell’s Point, their loved ones gathered in hiding out back.

Jeremy led Jenny out to the back of the restaurant after their meal, right behind the reflection pool where they were able to face the harbour views of Baltimore. They leaned against the bannister chatting, and laughter ensued. Jeremy turned in to face Jenny, grabbed her hand, and then moved downward-pulling the ring box out of his pocket. Joy ensued with kisses following – she obviously said, “yes!”

Family and friends crept out of their corners with phones up, balloons bouncing, signage high in the air, and a tiara for the newly made bride-to-be. Happy tears paired with hugs were shared all around as Jenny stumbled surprised through the faces of her beloved guests. The pair were able to immediately celebrate with everyone and followed up their engagement with drinks.

Those signs are too cute!! I love how a proposal just turned into a spontaneous engagement party. This is going to be one heck of an amazing wedding!
