Vibrant Cultural Summer Wedding – Carlita & Tony

Carlita and Tony shared a beautiful ceremony with their family and friends at Seventh Day Adventist Church and savoured the moments that come afterwards., surrounded by their best friends.

Many challenges came their way when they were trying to plan their special day, and every time they made it over one hurdle, another one appeared. In the end, all of those challenges brought this happy couple closer together. They went through month after month of wedding dates, having to change them just as quickly as they had picked them, when finally the date was clear: July 5th. It wasn’t what either of them had originally wanted, but it was the date that allowed them everything they did want.

Their wedding reception was a perfect example of the community Carlita and Tony have surrounded themselves with. They were able to take a relatively drab looking Firehall and transform it into a beautiful wedding venue. And since the traditions of the family didn’t allow for dancing, the family came up with a whole evening of games to celebrate. From a pinata to a small game of trivia, the family came through for these two and no one even noticed that there wasn’t dancing!
