Don’t let being overwhelmed take away from your excitement – Bethany & Chris

“Don’t let being overwhelmed take away from your excitement of planning the most important day of your life. It’s a lot of work and the last two weeks are some of the most stressful times, but they should also be fun times with your fiance. Make time to go on dates and spend time together without just talking wedding planning. Take in and enjoy every moment of the planning process. Also, things WILL go wrong!! You plan for months and there are things you can’t control that will happen. Don’t let it get to you and go with the flow. After everything happens, focus on all the good from the wedding and not what went wrong. At the end of the day, you’re married to the love of your life and that’s all that matters. Use your resources! I was so overwhelmed and doing twenty different things at once trying to plan and also working full time that I kept forgetting things especially the closer it came to the wedding. Looking back, I should have used my maid of honor more and told her about the things I needed to get done and that were important and had her remind me of those things instead of taking everything on myself.  Also, making lists will help exponentially. It feels great to cross things off too! :)”
