Wedding planning can be stressful – Lauren & Josh

“Oh gosh… wedding planning can be stressful, especially if you plan the majority of it by yourself (like I did), but I remember taking away three particularly important things from the process:1. Remember that no matter what doesn’t go “as planned,” or what songs don’t get played during your reception, or if you actually do trip walking down the aisle, that at the end of that special day you will be husband and wife.  If there is only one thing that matters on that day, it is your marriage.2. Please, for the love of all things bridezilla, do not forget about your mother.  Chances are this day is as important to her as it is to you, and all she wants to do is help you bring your dreams to life.  Remember to take the time to thank her for her support and include her in important decisions.  Momma, I love you!And 3.  Take the time to meet with your photographer to get those must-have shots that you can’t miss out on.  I was lucky enough to have one of the world’s most amazing photographers (looking at you, Nikki!), who made sure I was happy, comfortable, and that our group looked amazing the entire day.  Seriously, have the meetings, talk through the shot list. Oh, and also, do the sparkler exit.I also urge all of you brides to have fun with it! My hubby and I spent an entire night laying on our living room floor choosing our playlist of party songs for our reception, as well as what songs would be used throughout the events of the reception.  We laughed all night and had such a great time.  You’d be surprised at how much fun it is choosing your garter and bouquet toss songs… :)”
